Grounded Survival Horror: Escaping Raccoon City as an Everyday Civilian
Have you ever played a Resident Evil game, picked up an audio log from some unfortunate Raccoon City citizen, and wondered what their final night actually looked like? TuTu brings together videos discussing writer-director Zach Cregger's 2026 Resident Evil reboot. Instead of retelling the exact same mansion or police station storylines with superhuman action heroes, the filmmaker behind Barbarian and Weapons teams up with Austin Abrams to follow Bryan—a relatable, panic-stricken medical courier trying to deliver an organ package to Raccoon City General Hospital on the snowy night the outbreak hits. Across a tight, relentless 90-minute runtime, the movie nails the genuine survival-horror panic of counting every bullet, hunting for keys, spotting green herbs, and facing grotesque practical-effects monsters, all laced with Cregger's signature pitch-black comedy.
